Latest Project- 2 Bore

Just starting the stock hogging out process on one of our PA. Sugar Maple blanks. Barrel is only half way down. The barrel was turned and milled to reduce it's OD. It is half round, half octagon affair. It will be built like a Jaeger instead of a Hawken pattern and the weird thing is it will be a Flintlock. At around 20,000 ft lbs of energy from its 3500 grain ball ( shoulder fired). That puny ball in the barrel is actually .62 caliber.......... PIC BY T.A.B.
